Tall residential blocks

The government advises that personalised fire safety information sheets must be provided for residents who live in what they deem as ‘high-risk’ residential buildings. The government defines a high-risk residential building as a building 18m and above, or 7 storeys and above. 
You’ll see you have one of three types of evacuation plan: either stay put, simultaneous evacuation or a stay put with a phased evacuation. This information and which type of plan is used at your building is displayed on the Fire Action Notice. This information is also provided to you when you move into your home.

For buildings that are not listed above, you will find details of which type of strategy is used for your building (stay put, simultaneous evacuation or stay put with a phased evacuation) within the Fire Action Notice displayed in the communal areas. This information is also provided to you when you move into your home.
