Every area of our business is important; that includes finance, IT, resources, sales, development, HR, assets, strategic planning, communications, housing operations and repairs. It’s thanks to all our teams that we can keep our offices running and provide the excellent services we do to our customers. All whilst ensuring our homes are great places for our customers to live in.
We offer specialist support, advice and guidance to our customers to help them into employment. We help improve their employment prospects and provide them with access to a variety of training. All with the aim of creating bright futures for them!
We’re able to secure work experience and voluntary opportunities so our customers can gain on-the-job experience and build up their confidence. We help with CV’s, job searches and provide interview practice. Whatever their aspirations, we’re there to assist them in achieving their goals!
We each own our own patches and are the single point of contact for customers in our area. By really getting to know our patch and learning about what’s going on locally, we can make a real difference to our customers’ lives. We help make sure their communities are safe places to live and that they're happy to call it home.
Our roles are so varied and no two days are ever the same. Knowing we contribute towards creating bright futures for our customers day in and day out is truly rewarding.
We believe everyone has the right to a safe and secure place to call home. And as well as building brand new homes, we’re focused on maintaining our existing homes, so they’re fit for purpose and customers can get on with their lives and enjoy their homes.
Our in-house repairs team look after our homes, communal areas and neighbourhoods. Our team includes around 280 multi-skilled operatives, and we use specialist contractors where needed.
It’s a busy department, with people working in gas, electrics, painting and decorating, carpentry, labouring, grounds maintenance and much more. We complete repair jobs as well as damp and mould remedial work and essential gas safety checks, to ensure our homes are safe, warm and comfortable for customers.
