More homes

We’re determined to give as many people as possible the greatest chance of having a place to call home.

There’s a huge shortage of affordable homes

There are over 82,000 households in England in temporary accommodation, which includes 123,630 children*. And while we know there’s no quick fix to this complex problem, we’re totally committed to playing a significant part in solving the issue.

*Statistics from December 2018, published in a Parliament research briefing on households in temporary accommodation in England.

We’re pleased to have been awarded gold for Housing Association of the Year at the national WhatHouse? Awards in November 2019.

We’re continuing our work as a Homes England Strategic Partner. As one of the largest beneficiaries through the scheme, with a total grant allocation of over £291million, we’ve been able to increase our delivery of social rent and shared ownership homes and give lots of people a new place to call home. In fact, we’ve built the most homes committed for social rent within the whole of the Strategic Partnerships programme at 1,670 demonstrating our promise to delivering truly affordable homes.
