Lee is part of VIVID customer scrutiny panel. The panel takes an independent look at how VIVID is performing and makes sure customers’ voices are heard. They also monitor how well we’re delivering on our Customer Engagement and Involvement Strategy.

The group meets every month and currently has nine members who bring a wide range of experience and perspectives. From reviewing services to suggesting improvements, they play a vital role in shaping what we do.

Why Lee got involved
For Lee, joining the VIVID customer scrutiny panel wasn’t about filling a role—it was about making a real difference. “I saw an opportunity to make some improvements,” he explains. “Rather than sit there and do nothing, I decided to join the panel, share my thoughts, and see if they made sense to others.”

Lee’s goal is simple: help shape decisions that improve services for everyone. And so far, his ideas have been listened to and acted on, which is exactly what he hoped for.

What drives him
Lee isn’t just ticking boxes—he’s passionate about collaboration. “The get-togethers, especially face-to-face, are really enjoyable,” he says. “There’s a great camaraderie between us. We’ve got a mix of ages and experiences, so everyone brings something different to the table. It’s like one big pool of knowledge.”

For Lee, this diversity is key. It means better ideas, better decisions, and ultimately, better outcomes for the community.

Looking ahead
Lee wants to keep pushing for improvements that matter. His focus is on practical changes that make life easier for customers and strengthen trust between the community and VIVID. Every meeting is a chance to turn good ideas into real action—and that’s what motivates him most.
