Over the festive period, there’ll be some changes to our customer contact centre opening hours.

• Friday 22 December - open until 4.30pm
• Saturday 23 December until Tuesday 26 December - closed
• Wednesday 27 December until Friday 29 December - open as normal
• Saturday 30 December until Monday 1 January - closed
• Tuesday 2 January - open as normal
   

Accessing support over the festive season 

With the extra financial and emotional pressure that the festive season can bring, this can be a difficult time of year.   

We’ve gathered a list of organisations that can provide help and support. 

Samaritans 

The Samaritans offer listening and support to people and communities in times of need. They’re open 24/7 for anyone who’s struggling to cope and needs someone to listen without judgement or pressure. Call 116 123. 

Step Change 

Step Change provide free, expert debt advice. No matter how large or small your debt is they can help to recommend debt solutions to suit your situation. Call them on 0800 138 1111. 

The Trussell Trust 

The Trussell Trust supply emergency food and support via their local foodbanks. Visit their website to find a local foodbank to you. 

The Silverline 

Silverline is a free confidential helpline providing information, friendship and advice to over 55s. It’s open 24 hours a day, every day of the year: 0800 4 70 80 90. 

National Domestic Advice Helpline 

A freephone, 24-hour National Domestic Abuse Helpline, contactable on: 0808 2000 247. This helpline offers silent help from the police. If you need help but are unable to speak because of domestic abuse ring 999 when they answer and press 55. 

Men's Advice Line 

Supplying confidential advice and support for men experiencing domestic violence and abuse by a current or ex-partner or family member: 0808 801 0327. 

MoneyHelper 

MoneyHelper, formerly The Money Advice Service, offer free and impartial money and pensions advice. They're reachable on 0800 138 7777. 

LGBT Foundation 

The LGBT Foundation provide advice, support and information for people identifying as LGBTQ+: 0345 3 30 30 30.
