Helping our customers keep fit

Providing opportunities for our customers to exercise

In our over 55 homes, we’re encouraging and providing opportunities for our customers to exercise. We’ve collaborated with Everyone Active and Places Leisure to provide exclusive classes at some of our schemes. At other schemes, our independent living team are running bespoke classes to get our customers moving.

The aim of these classes is to provide an opportunity for our customers to remain active,  socialise and combat loneliness. The exercises have been carefully created to ensure they’re accessible for everyone who attends, with an emphasis on boosting people’s confidence.

Feedback so far has been great. Elaine, one our customers, said “It’s good for you physically and mentally, a laugh, and it's good for all different levels!”

Through our charitable arm, VIVID Plus, we’ve also supported initiatives to promote exercise in our communities, including cricket for local young people. Find out more here.
