Our independent living team run activities across our over 55 schemes, giving our older customers a chance to socialise and have some fun!

At one of our schemes, we recently hosted a bake-off competition, where customers competed to see who could bake the most delicious treats! There were cakes, biscuits, and other desserts to choose from, all made by our customers and staff. 

The judging panel, composed of VIVID staff, tasted all the bakes and after much deliberation awarded star baker to our customer Wendy for her amazing key lime pie. A surprised Wendy said "I didn't expect to win! I'm thrilled to have won."

The bake off was a great success, bringing VIVID customers and staff together for a fun afternoon. It showcased our customers baking talents and gave everyone a chance to enjoy some tasty treats! Funds raised on the day will go towards a group trip to Bournemouth later in the year.
