Make big savings and pay your rent smarter with the Housing Perks app

The Housing Perks app is helping our customers to make significant savings. Over the past 99 days, customers have saved £5,296 directly toward their rent and service charges account and an impressive £31,632 in total!

The app allows you to claim discounts on virtually all spending at over 100 supermarkets and is available to all VIVID customers, whether you rent a home or garage, or you’re a shared owner or leaseholder.

Housing Perks launched as a response to the ongoing cost of living crisis, and we partnered with them just over a year ago to help you to stretch your budgets further. The app allows users to purchase discounted vouchers for everyday essentials—from groceries and fashion to gifts and days out—at major retailers including top UK supermarkets.

Earlier this year, Housing Perks introduced a new feature that allows you to credit your savings to your rent and services charges account. You can now choose to pay full price for vouchers, and the discount you would have received is instead applied to your rent account.

For example:

  • A £40 B&M voucher typically costs £38.40 (a 7% discount).
  • Now, you can opt to pay the full £40—and have the £1.60 difference applied to your rent or service charges.

You can download the app here or by searching 'Housing Perks' on the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. You’ll just need to have your unique tenancy reference number to hand. You can find this number at the top of any letters we send you or in the profile section of your online account.
