Awaab’s Law comes into effect on 27 October, setting clear rules for how quickly social landlords must respond to things like damp and mould.  

Even though Awaab’s Law is new, we’ve already been taking action on damp and mould for quite some time. It’s something we’ve built into how we work.  We don’t just wait for problems, we’re always looking for ways to stop them before they start.
