Basingstoke students spread festive cheer at our office

We recently welcomed students from Dove House Academy Post 16 into our Basingstoke office to run a Christmas Fayre. The office was filled with festive spirt as the students set up stalls to sell handmade crafts, delicious treats and much more. VIVID staff were able to take a moment away from their desk to speak to the students, buy some new decorations and enter a special raffle.

Not only was the fayre a chance to spread some festive cheer, it was also an opportunity to support a good cause, with all the money raised being donated to St Michael's Hospice.

Staff at Dove House Academy Post 16 said "The students really enjoyed the morning and learned some very valuable skills, such as communication, teamwork, being organised, timekeeping and money skills. Holding events like this helps support their learning and we raised a whopping £190.00 for St Michael's Hospice, which is fabulous!’’

Derek Streek, Head of Communities, Standards and Partnerships at VIVID said "One of our key priorities is to support local communities. It was a joy to welcome these amazing young people and raise some money for charity."
