Social value

The relationships we have with our contractors can help us do more for our customers and communities.

Working together to do more

The relationships we have with our partners can make a real difference to our customers and their communities. Social value is about making the most of those relationships, whether that’s sharing job vacancies when they come up, supporting local projects or finding other ways our partners can help.

Over the last few months, our partners have been getting involved in lots of different ways. They’ve helped improve community centres and gardens, supported schools, donated equipment and resources, and given their time to support local activities and events.

This has included community clear-ups, improvements to shared spaces, support for young people and schools, and activities for customers living in our communities.

It’s about working together with our partners to bring something extra to our customers and the communities they’re part of.

Here’s a look at some of the recent support our partners have provided for our customers and communities.

Looking for a new direction or a chance to try something hands‑on?

We’ve teamed up with Jewson, City Electrical, City Plumbing, and others to offer VIVID customers a limited number of exclusive work placements and apprenticeship pathways.

It’s a great way to test out different types of work and work environments, gain experience, and open doors to long‑term careers. Take the first step by exploring placement options or checking out apprenticeship routes by contacting them directly to arrange a chat.
