We developed 160 bright and modern homes in phases on this site. This included 13 for affordable rent, 51 for social rent, 92 for shared ownership and 4 homes for private sale. The properties include 1 and 2 bedroom flats, and 2, 3 and 4 bedroom homes.
50 of the homes benefit from having solar panels, which can help reduce customer energy bills.
The development is in a great location, a 5-minute drive from Whiteley Village retail centre. A new school and church have been constructed for the community as part of the overall development.
VIVID has homes in multiple parts of this consortium site. This was a Section 106 site with extra affordable homes, with a total scheme cost of £45.3m.
