Customer news VIVID Impact

We’re taking a road trip to listen to your views!

Earlier this year, our customer panel VIVID Impact suggested customers would like more chances to engage with us face to face.

So, from this Spring we’ve been on the road around our area to meet with as many customers as possible, listen to views and ideas, and answer any questions about some of the support services that are available– from help claiming benefits to improving personal wellbeing.

Since April, we’ve visited Totland in Farnborough, Bishops Green, Tadley, Chapel Gate in Basingstoke and Leah Gardens in Eastleigh where we also celebrated the official opening of one of our newest developments.

While we were at Leah Gardens, for example, we picked up some useful insights, such as the need for better signage at the junction with Woodside Avenue, creating easier ways to get wheelie bins to the roadside, and ideas such as a community “allotment” for youngsters to grow family veg. We’ve also been showing customers how easy it is to sign up for an online account.

The roadshow continues through the summer, visiting St Mary’s in Portsmouth on 16 July, Nimrod Community Centre in Gosport on 21 August, North Town Community Centre in Aldershot on 18 September and Broadlaw Centre in Fareham on 15 October.

The roadshow sessions are a great way to learn more about our wide range of opportunities to get involved with your community including becoming a Neighbourhood Volunteer.

We’ll be publicising the events around each neighbourhood, including via our Facebook page @weareVIVIDhomes closer to the time and we’ll let you know if we’re coming to other venues. In the meantime, why not sign up for an online account today!
