The list of 40 over forty aims to showcase the amazing work that people are doing in housing up and down the country – shining the spotlight on those who go above and beyond because they care and know their patch better than anyone else.

24Housing received hundreds of nominations, and we’re delighted that Chris made the list!

Derek Streek, Head of Neighbourhoods, said: “We nominated Chris because of her continued drive and commitment to helping customers.

“She joined the organisation 25 years ago, choosing a career as a Neighbourhood Officer because she wanted to support vulnerable people without a voice. And over the years she’s had a huge positive impact on so many customers’ lives, helping them to continue living independently in their home.

“She continues to fight the customer’s corner in a professional and honest way that ensures customer and neighbourhood issues are thoroughly resolved.  And she’s great at building strong partnerships and working with external agencies to get the right results for customers. Her experience and support give strength and stability to the team and she’s highly respected as a mentor by others.”
