We’re developing 265 affordable homes at this site, as well as 345 homes for market sale in partnership with Highwood, and 146 through our Aspect joint venture with Eastleigh Borough Council.
These homes are part of a substantial development that’ll deliver over 1,000 homes in total, as well as brand new facilities that’ll create a thriving new community.
The developer, Highwood, organised the launch event to thank all the partners and stakeholders that’ve helped us get to this point. The reception included special toasts from VIVID and Highwood.
Guests had the chance to look around the marketing suite and show home to see the high quality construction, use of sustainable materials and the stylish range of finishings that’ll be applied to each home.
Guy Hayward, Managing Director of Highwood said:
“Today’s event represents the culmination of an extraordinary vision by the principal directors of Highwood over many years. Together we wanted to create a vibrant new community in an historic parkland setting and to break free from the traditional concept of housebuilding. We’ve already made great progress at the park; with over 100,000 bricks and 1,000 tonnes of tarmac laid, our vision is fast becoming a superb reality.”
Our Chief Executive, Mark Perry said:
“We’re delighted the showhome and marketing suite are now open so the public can view these stunning new homes; they’re at the heart of a contemporary new community, with wonderful new facilities being built around them.
‘We’re very proud of our ongoing involvement in this significant development – it represents a great partnership with Highwood and Eastleigh Borough Council. These stylish homes are designed for modern lifestyles, in a fantastic location and will be available at various tenures to suit a range of needs, including affordable options. We look forward to seeing families find their new homes here.”
The day after the launch, around 200 potential buyers went along to the site to find out more about the different homes that'll be available to buy and where they sit within the park.
