Recent figures suggest the job market is rebounding with job vacancies at a record high. However, we recognise the end of the Furlough Scheme will still affect many who’ve been unable to regain paid employment due to the impact of COVID-19. Many may also struggle to meet the experience needed or training expectations of employers looking for new recruits. 

We understand this may be a worrying and uncertain time. So, if you, or a member of your household, is struggling to find work, or have recently been made redundant, or need to find a role to fit in with changing family commitments, we'll be there with you on the journey to help navigate your route to employment.   

We have great relationships with a range of local employers and training schemes and our employment and training specialists can provide free, one-to-one support and advice covering everything from CV writing and improving your digital skills, to interview preparation and job applications. We run weekly workshops which are online and hosted in small groups to ensure that you get the most out of the session. We can also refer you to trusted training schemes and providers, which are either local to you or ran virtually.
