Swapping your home

Once you've found someone to swap homes with, everyone involved - even if they’re not a customer with VIVID - needs to fill out our home swapping form

Due to the high number of applications and new processes following coronavirus, we are experiencing delays. We will be in touch with you within 2 weeks of you submitting your application to confirm receipt, but there is a delay of 6 weeks for us to start progressing your application. Please be assured that we’re working as quickly as we can to get your home swap completed. Please take a look at our guide to check that you are swap ready

We’re committed to providing a great customer service and we’ve recruited more staff to help us work through the applications, but there may be some delays.  So please bear with us and we thank you for your patience.

Please make sure you fill in the form completely as that’ll help us process it faster. We'll be in contact with you if there's an issue with your application, so there's no need to call us for an update. We're working hard behind the scenes and will be in touch with you as soon as there’s news.

Moving to a VIVID property?

  • You must complete two forms:
  • Our home swapping form
  •  And the Benefit and Budgeting Calculator form - We need to check that the home you're swapping to is going to be affordable. Please complete the Benefit and Budgeting Calculator. You need to use the property details for the home you're swapping to. This includes; the postcode, weekly rent and service charge, bedroom size and Council tax band
  • We can’t process your application without both forms.
