If you live in one of our taller buildings and have a vulnerability that means you'd need support to evacuate your home if there's a fire, it's important you let us know.

We’ll use the information that you provide to create a personal evacuation plan (known as a PEEPs), which we’ll share with the fire brigade so they can ensure that you and any household members can be safely evacuated in an emergency. 

Which buildings does this apply to?

If you have a vulnerability and live in one of the following buildings, please let us know by filling in the form below.

If you don't live in one of our taller buildings, but would need support to evacuate in the event of a fire, please contact your local fire and rescue service who can arrange a 'Safe and Well' visit. These can be arranged by visiting the relevant website for your local area and requesting a home call. Some areas have an online application whilst others offer a phone number. There’s a set of criteria listed on each website in order to be eligible for a home call.

The fire and rescue divisions that operate in our areas and offer this service include:

  • Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service
  • Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service
  • West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service
  • Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service
  • Surrey Fire and Rescue Service

What do we mean by a vulnerability?

You may need help to evacuate if you or someone in your household has mobility issues or a visual or hearing impairment. Or there may be young children or elderly people living with you.

How will data be stored and who will it be shared with? 

As well as being securely stored by VIVID, this information will be stored in a secure ‘red box’ on site, which is only accessible by our staff members and the fire service.   

This information will be shared with the Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service and we’ll keep this information for the duration of your tenancy/lease.    

What if my situation changes? 

If your situation changes and it may affect your ability to self-evacuate it is important to let us know
