We know progress is impossible without change.

And that’s why we’re really proud of our innovative culture.

Our people are encouraged to explore new ideas, new products, new services, and new ways of working. Because if there’s something out there that’ll help us achieve our vision – More homes, bright futures – we want to know about it.

We also think it’ll help us if we find new ways to:

  • Drive efficiency

  • Identify better value for money, and

  • Improve services for our customers

To help us do all of this, we have a strategy and framework in place which outlines – what we call – our ‘active and managed stance to innovation’ through our:

  • Approach to testing and trialling new ideas

  • Ability to respond quickly to new technology or markets, and

  • Joint innovation work with people inside and outside the sector

Making the best use of digital technologies

We understand, in an ever-changing world, the benefit of embracing digital technologies in being able to be the right choice for customers, to be a cost-effective operator and to have a modern culture. Here's what we'll be doing over the next 3 years.

Things Connected

Working with other businesses to create new ‘Internet of Things’ products (‘Internet of Things’ means putting small chips into products to learn more about them. For example, our buildings could have chips inside to tell us when they’re about to go wrong).

Avoidable repairs

Looking at new ways we deliver our repairs service. We’re really keen to achieve better value for money and improve our service to customers.
